What a weekend! The VHJA Finals were held at Meadow Run Equestrian Center in Colchester. In the first round of the Short Stirrup Medal Final, Samantha had a score of 77, which put her in second place. It was her first test and she rode it well enough to bump her up to first. The look on her face when she realized she won was worth ever dime we’ve spent this summer. It was like being in one of those Mastercard ads……Entry fees $240 dollars, Trailering $30, One month of extra jumping lessons….$120, the look on Samantha’s face when they handed her the trophy and cooler? PRICELESS!!!! Pics coming soon……..
